A European perspective on actual developments in North Korea – presentation at the renowned Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C.
Recent developments on the Korean Peninsula seen from a European perspective and options for the European Union, but also the US, were discussed by Dr. Bernhard Seliger, representative of Hanns-Seidel-Foundation Korea, at the renowned Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholar in Washington, D.C., on May 6, 2010. Economic policy decision in North Korea had an ad-hoc character, without an existing reform strategy. Dr. Seliger, who was in Washington on invitation of the State Department, also talked about the experiences of Hanns-Seidel-Foundation with capacity-building programmes in North Korea.
