This year’s workshop organized by the Local Administration Research Instituts (LARI) and Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea was held on November 13th, 2009, in Daejeon. Selected guests from different regions in Korea introduced successful examples of strengthening the local administration and community.
Amongst them were projects in Gwangju, a school project in Yongin, a project on civil society in Nowon, an e-village project in Hongcheon and a project on successful marketing in a traditional village in Gyeongju.
A discussion led by Prof. Dr. An Seong-ho of Daejeon Universtiy was held with all participants after these presentations.
